A lot of times, single working parents worry about introducing their kids to love interests before they realize for themselves what kind of impact this man will have on their own lives. Be honest with yourself and your partner. Is he/she a man you like spending time with, going out and laughing with, but don't truly see a future with? Or could you see this man development you truly happy and wanting to take it to a more serious level? Dating when we're older (and have kids) is different than dating in our early 20s - there is no middle ground with dating; whether you're here for the long run or your just a fad. And the decision needs to be dealt with quickly. If you introduce your children to a love interest before dealing with this straightforward (yet important) question, it sets up an attachment level between the children and the man you're dating that could end badly.
• Be honest with your kids when telling them about a love interest.
Talking to your children about your dating association before introducing a valuable other is crucial. Most children's fears are about abandonment, especially after a divorce. Emphasize that you are not leaving them for your valuable other, nor are you asking for their approval. Peter Sheras, author and clinical psychologist at the University of Virginia says you should "begin by development your own statement of love and keep for your family. Then ask the children questions like 'What would you like for our family? What are you finding for in man that we might bring into the family?'"

You've realized your love interest is man you want in your life for a long time. You've told your kids you are dating man by telling them first how much they mean to you and you are not abandoning them. Now comes the hardest part. The intro. Make sure the intro isn't a few weeks into a new relationship. You decided it was a serious relationship, but wait a few months just to make sure. Also, introducing them as your leaving for a date isn't the best and leaves the kids with questions. Plan an informal outing that includes everyone where they can all be themselves.

Several recent reports have suggested that what has been hinted at for a while will indeed come to fruition...Sirius XM is severing ties with shock jock Bubba The Love Sponge. For now, Bubba will continue to be heard (mainly regionally) on his 6 affiliates in Florida, South Carolina, and Ohio. This has been teased for a while. Bubba has been trying to defuse this for the past few months as well as the issue with him potentially losing his affiliate in Miami due to low ratings. Anyone could see, as with Howard Stern, that there was a rift. But Stern was able to settle his rift with Sirius XM. They realize the importance of continuing to have him on board. Bubba is comparably unknown compared to the former "King of All Media" and is only along for the ride. After 2008, Bubba already seemed like he was on the way out from Sirius XM. Clem was already offered a huge money deal from Cox Communications to do a morning show on WHPT-FM 102.5 The Bone in Tampa/St. Petersburg. Clem said that he wanted to stay part of the "Radio Revolution" on the Howard Stern channels...except that this element of the "Revolution" was on tape delay from The Bone. The only live show Bubba was doing was midday on Fridays. Even though Clem is not getting a new deal, Stern did sign a new 5 year contract with the satellite radio provider. When you have beef with somebody these days, what medium to you take it to? That's right...Twitter ...
